Ballarini cookware is made in Italy with a focus on long-lasting craftsmanship, safe materials, and reliable everyday use. Every pan is designed to perform for years, not just months, and the warranty exists to protect you from defects in the manufacturing process, not normal wear from cooking.
If something goes wrong that shouldn’t, we want you to feel confident that help is available.
What the Warranty Covers
Ballarini offers a limited manufacturer’s warranty that applies to defects in materials or workmanship under normal household use.
Coverage varies by product line:
| Product Line | Warranty Length | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ballarini Parma / Parma Plus / Modena | 5-Year Limited Warranty | For nonstick coating and construction |
| Ballarini Professionale Series | 2-Year Limited Warranty | Designed for commercial-use durability |
| Lids, handles, accessories | 1–2 Years | Depends on item |
| Store bundles (multi-piece sets) | Based on each included product | Not treated as one single warranty |
✅ If the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect, Ballarini will repair or replace the product at no cost.
✅ If the exact item is no longer available, a comparable replacement will be offered.
What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal use, accidents, or misuse. Examples include:
Surface scratches, staining, or discoloration from cooking
Nonstick coating wear due to metal utensils, aerosol sprays, or overheating
Damage caused by dishwasher detergents or abrasive cleaners
Warping from sudden temperature change (example: rinsing a hot pan under cold water)
Damage caused by commercial use of a household model
Use on incompatible stovetops (ex: aluminum pan on induction)
Damage caused by dropping, denting, or burning the pan empty on high heat
In other words:
If it happened because of how the pan was used — not how the pan was made — it is not a warranty defect.
How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe your pan has a manufacturing defect, follow these steps:
Keep your proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order history screenshot).
Take clear photos of the defect (inside, outside, and handle if relevant).

Tips to Keep Your Warranty Valid
Ballarini pans last the longest when cared for properly. These habits protect both the pan and the warranty:
Use medium heat for most cooking, not maximum flame.
Avoid metal utensils on nonstick surfaces.
Let the pan cool before washing — no cold water shock.
Hand washing is strongly recommended even if listed as dishwasher-safe.
Avoid aerosol cooking sprays, which break down nonstick coatings.
Never leave the pan empty over high heat — this can damage the base.
If a coating wears out due to age and use, it is not considered a defect. That is a normal lifespan, not a warranty failure.
Warranty vs. Store Returns
If you bought your Ballarini pan from a retailer (ex: Amazon, Williams Sonoma, Walmart), the store return policy may be easier to use before filing a warranty claim.
Example: damaged in shipping, wrong size, ordered by mistake, etc.
Warranty only applies once the return window is closed.
Common Warranty Questions
Q1: Does peeling nonstick coating count as a defect?
Only if it occurs very early in the pan’s life and was not caused by metal tools, overheating, or improper cleaning.
Q2: Can I use this warranty without a receipt?
No. The manufacturer requires proof of purchase for all claims.
Q3: Does the warranty restart if the pan is replaced?
No. The warranty period is based on the original date of purchase.
Q4: Are commercial kitchens covered?
Only the Ballarini Professionale line is designed for commercial use. Household pans used in restaurants are not covered.
